Improve Your Mental Health With Our Support Group

Mission Statement
Our mission is to build supportive communities for those facing mental health challenges through peer-led support groups and educational outreach in Tarrant County.
At Depression Connection for Recovery, we provide a place and a process where change and recovery are possible. We present the opportunity for individuals to improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential. Our help begins in providing the skills and tools needed to re-connect or regain the fullness, sense, and purpose in living, that depression has taken away.
Weekly Depression Support Groups at No Charge

I don’t know where to turn!
Support groups are a good place to turn because your situation is unique, but will share common threads with others in the group. Support groups offer the ability to communicate your personal experience and concerns with friends who will not judge you. The back and forth sharing of a support group allows room to “think aloud” and explore ideas with others. There may be others with similar experiences who will share what has worked for them, and what hasn’t. It is a place to find comfort, as well as opportunities to grow. Along the way, taking part in such a supportive environment, you may find the journey to recovery is easier when you are not taking the journey alone.
